Ted Brownstein

Mr. Ted Brownstein is a Jewish-Christian-Baha'i living in Lake Worth, Florida with his wife, Chris. He holds a master’s degree in Biblical Hebrew from University of Wisconsin – Madison, 1985. Raised as a cultural Jew, Ted became a Christian in college (without giving up his Jewish identity) and a Baha'i in 1997. Currently Ted serves on the board of directors of the Lake Worth Interfaith Network, on the Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of Lake Worth, on the board of directors of Abrahamic Reunion USA, as a member of the Lake Worth MLK Committee, as an ambassador for the Parliament of the World’s Religions and as faculty for the Wilmette Institute teaching courses on Judaism, Christianity and Interfaith Dialogue. Ted is also the compiler of The Interfaith Prayer Book (2014), a collection of prayers from 14 world faiths, author of Pioneers of Jewell (2013), a history of Lake Worth with a race relations theme, and author of Soaring in the Heaven of God’s Love (2017), a commentary on the Baha’i Long Obligatory Prayer. Ted is currently working on a new book, with Sheikh Ghassan Manasra, In the Key of Peace: Kinship of the Bible and Qur’an.
