Joel Nizin

Joel Nizin is a northern New Jersey, double-boarded colorectal surgeon who has been in practice for nearly forty years. He is blessed with one wife, two daughters, and five grandchildren, with one currently on the way. Research on Bahá’í history, family genealogy, photography, travel, and hiking are among his diverse interests. He has served on numerous Bahá’í institutions, including the Regional Bahá’í Council for the Northeastern States, and as a delegate to the Bahá’í National Convention. He has created several multiyear programs for youth, including “Badasht,” “Badasht Prep,” and “Turning 15.” This is his first book.
