Elsie Austin was the first African-American woman to graduate from the University of Cincinnati School of Law in 1930. She declared her belief in Baha’u’llah in 1934 and went on to become the first African-American woman to serve as assistant attorney general for the state of Ohio. For a decade afterward, she was a foreign service diplomat and worked tirelessly on cultural and educational projects in several African countries. This book gives a fictionalized account of Elsie Austin’s life based on the author’s research of and interviews with her. It is hoped that the reader will gain an appreciation for this champion of racial justice and how she rose during her lifetime to become a Change Maker.

Artist Harlan Carl Scheffler reflects on the implications of the spiritual reality upon which the physical world is based and on the need for science to acknowledge that reality in order to meet the challenge of Alzheimer's.
This book turns a searchlight on the services and sacrifices of one of the Hands of the Cause of God who is less known in the West, but whose life story is unique. From a young age he had the honor of serving on Bahá’í administrative organizations in Iran, including the National Spiritual Assembly from its inception in 1934. He travelled internationally on several continents, particularly in Asia, presenting the essential contribution of the teachings of Bahá’u’lláh to universal peace, justice, education, and development. Shu‘a‘u’lláh ‘Alá’í’s many gifts of intellect and spirit, his candour and simplicity, as well as his sunny disposition, endeared him to many during his lifetime and will be newly appreciated by present-day readers.

At just 25 years old, David Tanyi was the oldest of the five young Cameroonian Knights of Bahá’u’lláh – the four others were all under 21. Newly married, and forfeiting a job opportunity to go pioneering, he reached French Togoland in early 1954, and was named a Knight of Bahá’u’lláh together with Vivian Wesson and Mavis Nymon.
It was the start of 35 years of pioneering, during which Esther and David Tanyi experienced poverty, hunger and malnutrition, loneliness and xenophobia – but also the joy of teaching, and laying the foundations for Bahá’í communities in Togo, Benin and Ghana.

Limited Edition! This is the second volume of poetry by Mahvash Sabet, who was named Writer of Courage by Michael Longley at the PEN Pinter Prize ceremony in 2017. Sabet was imprisoned in March 2008 and initially condemned to a 20-year jail sentence for her belief in the Bahá’í Faith. Although she was released in September 2017, she was arrested once again, in July 2022, and sentenced to a further 10 years on the same baseless grounds. She is currently incarcerated in Evin Prison in Tehran.
This new collection comes with an introduction to Mahvash by one of the most famous prisoners of conscience in Iran condemned for her fight for women’s rights and freedom, Narges Mohammadi, the Nobel Peace Prize winner of 2023.
