The story invites the reader to feel deeply for the different characters in the book and question the ambiguity surrounding death. However, these questions are beautifully answered through guidance from the Bahai Writings, which are planted potently throughout the book.

Aalia’s Guardian Angel is such an amazing book that can teach lots of junior youth about what the afterlife looks like whilst sharing information written by the Prophet of the Baha'i Faith about the afterlife. Aalia’s Guardian Angel has a wonderful storyline with quotes to support what the author is trying to convey to the Junior Youth which helps their understanding of the afterlife. In this story Aalia has to deal with a lot of grief from important people and pets in her life although she has been challenged to accept that they have now moved on to a better world and that they are happy. Aalia tries not to let this get her down as her friend Liam teaches her about the Baha'i Faith and she realizes her relatives are in the eternal world and she will eventually find her missed ones and reunite. The author has written this book knowing that some Junior Youth don't read as much as some kids so when you start to read you can't put it down because of the immense moments of suspense.
